Shipment Terms
1. Introduction
Premium Saffron Trading imports saffron directly from the Persian Region into the Netherlands. All customs clearance, VAT obligations, and import procedures are handled by us as the licensed importer of record. Once the goods arrive at Schiphol Airport, they are transported under full insurance to our warehouse, where orders are prepared for dispatch.
These Shipment Terms outline how we manage logistics, insurance, risk transfer, and delivery responsibilities for all orders.
2. Fresh‑Batch Production & No‑Stock Policy
Premium Saffron Trading operates a fresh‑batch production model. We do not maintain long‑term stock, as all wholesale and retail formats are produced to order using freshly processed saffron from the Persian Region.
This ensures that every product originates from a recent, fully traceable batch, rather than from bulk inventory stored for extended periods. Customers who require fresh batches are advised to place orders in advance to ensure availability and optimal scheduling.
Once a batch has arrived at our warehouse, standard delivery times apply.
3. Independent Laboratory Testing & Batch Transparency
Every batch imported by Premium Saffron Trading undergoes independent laboratory testing to verify conformity with ISO 3632 and our internal minimum standards.
We proudly share our laboratory results, including independent reference testing by SAI Chimie (France). Additional verification through EU‑based accredited laboratories is available for partners requiring further compliance documentation.
Unlike suppliers who rely on long‑term bulk storage or mixed‑batch inventories, each batch we release is freshly produced, fully traceable, and independently tested at the moment of release. Independent laboratory testing per batch is recommended and available on request.
